Rosalie grew up in the West Midlands and obtained her Law degree at the University of Birmingham before embarking upon the Legal Practice Course at the College of Law. Rosalie commenced her training contract at Irwin Mitchell in 2010 and qualified into the Medical Negligence team in September 2012.

Rosalie currently assists with a range of high value cases as well as running her own varied caseload which includes cases involving negligently performed surgery, spinal injuries, birth injuries, delayed diagnosis of endometriosis, cancer, deep vein thrombosis, infection and orthopaedic injury.

Rosalie has a particular interest in birth injury cases and recently helped to achieve a settlement which would be the equivalent to £10.2million if paid in a lump sum. The client  suffered from autistic spectrum disorder, ADHD, epilepsy and numerous other cognitive and behavioural problems as a result of a negligent delay in delivery.

Rosalie derives great satisfaction from knowing that her work can make a real difference and allow families to fund appropriate care regimes, conduct necessary adaptations to accommodation and purchase specialist aids and equipment in order to enhance the injured parties’ life.

Rosalie is keen to help others seek redress when they have been let down whether that entails bringing an action against NHS trusts, general practitioners (GPs) and/or doctors in private practice. Rosalie is extremely passionate about her area of work and prides herself in basing her work on the ethos that a clients needs should always be placed at the heart of every case.

Some interesting facts about Rosalie:

• Outside of work Rosalie enjoys engaging in what she terms the three Ss 1) Shopping 2) Swimming and 3) Socialising with friends and family.
• Rosalie loves travelling and has a thirst to experience different cultures and try out the local delicacies. Rosalie has visited many areas including Central America, Europe and North Africa and her next planned trip is to Disneyland Paris.
• Rosalie is an avid football fan which has seen her visit grounds as far a field as Barcelona and she is a frequent attendee at St Andrews football stadium.
