Our Wills, Trusts and Probate department can help when it is necessary to make or update a will, set up a trust (for example to protect personal injury damages from the benefits means test) or administer the estate of someone who has died.
We can quickly obtain a grant of probate of a will or of letters of administration when there is no will. We can help to re-seal grants issued abroad, and we also work closely with the Court of Protection team to draw up statutory wills for clients who have lost the capacity to make their own wills for whatever reason. We also prepare Lasting (and general) Powers of Attorney.
