Christmas fun at the Norman Laud Association
06 Jan 2011
Children at the Norman Laud Association nursery were thrilled by the surprise appearance of Father Christmas at their Christmas party.
The Norman Laud Association nursery caters for children with special needs, and Caroline Stokes and Rosanna Cox, from Birmingham’s Medical Law and Patients’ Rights Team, spent the afternoon at the nursery assisting the staff, entertaining the children with Christmas carols, and taking lots of photos. Phil Edwards arrived in the guise of Santa Claus, and treated the children to gifts of tactile books and jingle bells which added an extra touch of festive cheer to the party!
The best photos were chosen for inclusion in Irwin Mitchell memory sticks which reached the nursery in time to be given to the children before they broke up for Christmas.
After the party, Emma Holding, Community Fundraiser for the Association got in touch to say:
“Thank you so much for coming to our Christmas party yesterday. We are very grateful to you for giving up your time and donating such fabulous gifts, bringing food and finding a Santa : )”
