    Reducing stillbirth and dealing with the aftermath

    A free one-day conference aimed at medical and health professionals.

    This conference will discuss the physical and psychological trauma women may suffer following a stillbirth and consider changes in medical practice to reduce the occurrence of stillbirth in the future.

  • Coping with bereavement and loss - 16/06/2010 - 16/06/2010

    Location: Irwin Mitchell Solicitors, Imperial House, 31 Temple Street, Birmingham, B2 5DB

    A FREE workshop that provides practical advice and support for professionals and volunteers who work with people who are dying or who have suffered traumatic loss.

    This workshop will:

    • Outline the process of bereavement, the effects of emotions and how to manage them within professional situations
    • Advise on how to put together an individual coping strategy to support staff and prevent burnout

    The course is accompanied by a comprehensive booklet and resource pack and helpful leaflets suitable for both staff and patients.

    Lunch will be provided
