Rachel is a solicitor and works in the Medical Law and Patients' Rights team in Sheffield. She qualified in 1999 having trained in Sheffield, and joined the team in 2009.
Rachel has experience of cases across of variety of medical specialities and provides particular support on quantum issues for complex cases which often involve injuries sustained at birth or spinal injuries.
Previously in addition to managing her own caseload, Rachel gained experience from tutoring law at The College of Law and at The University of Sheffield. Rachel is also a member the Ethics Forum and Patient Liaison Committee at a local Sheffield hospital.
Outside of work Rachel's time is mainly taken up with family life. Her 3 young children and chocolate Labrador keep her active and thoroughly entertained.
