I would like to thank you for the resulting letter of apology from the health trust. However small those results may seem I have taken great comfort in drawing closure over a part of my life I can now put to rest.

Joanne Ashley

Location: Sheffield

Joanne joined the Medical Law and Patients’ Rights team in 1998. She is a paralegal and is currently studying with the Institute of Legal Executives (ILEX).


She has a wide experience of cases but has a particular interest in claims relating to infection. She has worked on cases involving hospital acquired infections such as Clostridium difficile and MRSA. Joanne also deals with claims relating to elderly care and is passionate about issues surrounding protection of the elderly. Joanne also provides assistance to solicitors within the team.

In her spare time Joanne can be found either socialising with friends - or studying law!
