Dee was a nurse and midwife before forming part of the medical law team at Irwin Mitchell. She specialises in birth injury cases and is involved in the fetal anticonvulsant syndrome group action that is dealing with the effects of anticonvulsant drugs on children whose mothers had to take the drug during pregnancy.
Dee feels that an important part of her job is providing moral support to clients and their families particularly when medical cases are time consuming and upsetting.
In her spare time Dee likes to go out trainspotting, however when the weather is bad she can be found at home happily listening to her Cliff Richard collection.
