Michelle is a qualified nurse who provides medical support to the clinical negligence team. She has been with the team for the last two years and before that worked in the health service for ten years.

Michelle has a wealth of critical, perioperative, surgical and orthopaedic experience. During her last three years in the NHS, Michelle worked as an orthopaedic theatre sister running theatres specialising in a variety of both adult and paediatric orthopaedic injury and disease.

Michelle assists the team with medical issues and is involved in liaising with medical experts and assisting clients in obtaining explanations in relation to medical issues arising throughout their claim.

Some interesting facts about Michelle:

  • Michelle has played for a local area ladies football team for the last 6 years as a defender. The ladies have been league runners up for the last two years!
  • Michelle has attained the standard of 1st KYU and has fought nationally for the Northern Area Judo squad. She played Judo from the ages of 8 - 18 years before becoming a nurse.
  • Michelle has recently adopted and rescued two white, deaf kittens that were advertised in her local newspaper.
