Sharon is a solicitor based in the Manchester office and assists both Lindsay Wise, head of the Medical Law and Patients' Rights team, and Dina Lambourne, solicitor in the Medical Law and Patients' Rights team as well as running her own varied clinical negligence case load.

Sharon studied Law at Manchester Metropolitan University where she also completed her LPC.  Following university she worked at a number of different firms within the region gaining experience in different areas of practice and then secured a training contract with Irwin Mitchell to begin in June 2007.

Sharon spent eight months training in the Medical Law and Patients' Rights team working on a range of cases varying in complexity and value.  Before qualifying into the Medical Law and Patients' Rights team, Sharon spent five months in the neurotrauma/personal injury department where she assisted the partner of the department on complex and high value cases.  This experience complemented her knowledge and skills with her chosen field of clinical negligence. 

Sharon is a member of the Irwin Mitchell Charitable Foundation organising fundraising events and regularly participates in the Salford Education in the Community Scheme teaching reading to children at a local inner city primary school.
