Tessa Hodson

Tessa is a clinical negligence solicitor based in the Manchester office. She moved to Manchester in 1991 to study Applied Biological Sciences (Hons). Following her degree studies she worked with the Lung Unit at Wythenshawe hospital and published her first research paper.

These initial years spent in Manchester resulted in a craving for sunshine and Tessa left her research post to explore the East Coast of Australia.

Following her return to Manchester, Tessa completed a law conversion course and Legal Practice Course which lead to her career in Clinical Negligence. With a passion for the medical field and compassion for those patients who have been subject to negligent medical care, Tessa has committed her entire career to clinical negligence practice. She initially secured a training contract at Alexander Harris and has subsequently relished working on a variety of cases from high value birth injury cases to complex orthopaedic surgery claims; cosmetic treatment blunders; pressure sore cases; inquests and many more.
