Sue Tyson is an Associate in the Medical Law and Patients' Rights team in Manchester. She has 17 years experience of dealing with clinical negligence claims and has been with Irwin Mitchell since November 2008.
Prior to joining Irwin Mitchell Sue gained many years experience of Defendant work whilst at Hempsons. Having come from a defendant background, she now uses her knowledge and experience to good effect on behalf of the claimants whom she now represents. Sue specialises in birth injury, neonatal deaths and claims of maximum severity arising from failures to diagnose and treat.
Sue was born in Staffordshire where she still lives. She studied Law and Psychology at Keele University. She worked for the Medical Defence Union in sales and marketing prior to qualifying as a Solicitor in 1994.
She is a Law Society Clinical Negligence Panel Member and APIL Senior Litigator.
