Maria Repanos

Location: Manchester

Maria is an Associate Solicitor based in Irwin Mitchell’s Manchester Medical Law and Patients’ Rights team. She has a broad range of experience in clinical negligence claims and acts for clients who have suffered various injuries including obstetric, gynaecological, neurological and oncological.

Whilst she has a varied case load, Maria has a particular interest in cerebral palsy, cancer and amputee claims. She has handled a number of claims of this type to successful settlement. Maria made the transition from Defendant Clinical Negligence to Claimant practice almost five years ago, and her previous experience has been extremely valuable to her making tactical decisions in cases.

Maria was born in the West Midlands. She studied Law at Essex University, completed a Masters in Medical Law at Cardiff University and a Legal Practice Course at Oxford Institute of Legal Practice prior to qualifying as a solicitor.

Maria is a Trustee of Stockport Cerebral Palsy Society, and in her spare time you will either find Maria in the kitchen experimenting or in the water doing water sports.
