William joined Irwin Mitchell during 2008 although has now been working in the personal injury field for 15 years. Having started work as a paralegal in 1996, William went on to qualify as a Legal Executive in 2005 and then a Solicitor in 2006. During his time in law, he has handled a diverse range of personal injury cases and particularly in recent years, has specialised in representing patients who have suffered injury due to sub-standard medical practice. He is committed to achieving exceptional case outcomes and where possible, to addressing the rehabilitation needs of his clients through securing interim funds during the course of proceedings.

William’s experience in the clinical negligence field is broad. He has handled cases involving sub-standard care against NHS Trusts, GPs and specialist doctors working in private practice. He acts on behalf of both children and adults who have suffered harm as a result of negligent medical treatment and he has also represented families of those who have suffered bereavements due to poor medical practice. William is a former advisor on the helpline of the leading healthcare charity AVMA.

In his spare time William is a keen tennis player and golfer. He also enjoys a busy family life with 5 children.
