Juanita has specialised in claimant negligence matters since qualifying as a solicitor in August 2000, and has handled a wide range of cases including birth injuries, mistakes in diagnosis, surgical errors and fatal accidents. She has run two High Court trials.

In the last 5 years, Juanita has successfully dealt with cases including: delay in diagnosis of a fourth degree vaginal tear; delay in diagnosis of Tuberculosis; failure to provide a cervical suture in pregnancy leading to the loss of a baby; and delay in diagnosis of appendicitis.

Juanita prides herself in being approachable and helpful to her clients and is determined to achieve the best possible outcome.

Prior to taking legal examinations, Juanita graduated with a BSc (Econ) in International Relations at Aberystwyth University.

Juanita is accredited as a Senior Litigator by the Association of Personal Injury Lawyers.

Over the years Juanita has devoted considerable time to pro bono work, as a regular adviser at the Toynbee Hall legal advice centre and Centre 70. She is involved in the firm's pro-bono programme as a volunteer at the Citizens Advice Bureau. When not working, Juanita enjoys cooking, cinema and music.
