Within her own caseload, Jessica acts for a variety of Claimants, including those who have negligently sustained burns during surgery, cases following bunion surgery, as well as Fatal Accidents Act cases. Jessica has a specialist interest in cases arising out of the stillbirth of a child or a death in the neonatal period and recently settled a case for the mother of a stillborn child as a result of the hospital failing to monitor the baby during labour.
Jessica recently assisted Auriana on a case involving a child born with cerebral palsy as a result of a delay in delivery. The case settled for £2.4 million, including annual payments of over £100,000 for the rest of the child’s life.

On a pro bono basis, most recently, Jessica assisted the victims of the recent London riots in Tottenham with their claims for compensation after their homes were burned down and all of their possessions lost. Jessica also volunteers at the Citizen’s Advice Bureau at the Royal Courts of Justice.
Outside of work, Jessica enjoys playing netball, watching films and reading.
