Alison Eddy is the head of the clinical negligence team in London. She has over 25 years experience and specialises in obstetric and neurosurgery cases.
Alison joined Irwin Mitchell in 1995 to help set up the London office and prides herself on providing her clients with a high quality of service. What motivates her is being able to improve the quality of life of her clients, often putting rehabilitation in place using interim payments. She has a national reputation as one of the leading solicitors in the field of clinical negligence litigation.

Alison has extensive experience in clinical negligence litigation, with particular expertise in complex obstetric claims and claims for adults and children who have suffered brain or spinal injury. Memorable cases include a claim relating to negligent neurosurgical treatment resulting in paraplegia, in which a settlement of £8.5M was achieved.
Alison lectures and writes widely on a range of issues, particularly on consent and rehabilitation. She is a contributing author to "A Medico-Legal Handbook for Doctors".
