Margaret is a solicitor based in the Leeds office who conducts cases across a wide variety of medical fields and has a particular interest in birth injury and gynaecological cases.
Margaret finds her work in advising and acting for her clients very fulfilling and enjoys regularly meeting with her clients and their families. She finds particularly rewarding being able to offer clients, through the use of medical expert evidence, the answers to some of the questions that they have relating to their medical treatment.
Margaret was born and brought up in Manchester. She then spent three years at the University of Liverpool and then completed her legal training in Sheffield and Birmingham. Upon qualification she took up a position in the Leeds clinical negligence department.
Some interesting facts about Margaret:
- Outside work she enjoys horse riding, walking and scuba diving
- She spent time during her year out after university doing voluntary work at a law firm in Accra, Ghana, West Africa
- She enjoys helping raise money for local and national charities and is an active member of her firms Charitable foundation. In 2008 she completed a 10k midnight walk through the streets of Manchester in her pyjamas in aid of St Anne’s Hospice in Manchester and soon hopes to raise more funds for charity by completing a sponsored parachute jump.
