Kate is a solicitor based in the Bristol office, dealing with cases on behalf of patients who have suffered as a result of medical negligence and conducting cases across a wide variety of medical fields, with particular experience of assisting elderly clients with complex medical histories.
Kate finds her work in advising and acting for her clients very fulfilling and enjoys in particular her regular interaction with her clients and their families.
Kate was born and brought up in Birmingham. She spent three years at the University of Liverpool before returning to Birmingham to qualify as a solicitor at Irwin Mitchell.
Three interesting facts about Kate:
- Outside work she enjoys running, swimming and DIY (less so, the latter)
- She has recently taken up playing the piano after a ten-year gap
- Her ambition is to write a novel but her efforts so far are in their infancy
