Julie is a Partner based in Bristol, and has a particular interest in birth injury claims and obstetric and gynaecology claims.
Julie recognises that her clients are often seeking more than just compensation. She recently acted in a high profile case involving a delay in diagnosing breast cancer. The woman concerned subsequently underwent breast reconstruction surgery and sadly died as a result of anaesthetic negligence. Julie represented the family at the inquest into her death, acted in the claim for compensation and is assisting the family with a complaint to the General Medical Council (GMC).
Julie was brought up in Rugby. She spent three years studying law at Birmingham University before training at Irwin Mitchell and qualifying in 2002. Julie lives with her husband and daughter.
