Kay is a registered nurse with twenty years experience in the health service, and is based with the medical negligence team in the Birmingham office.
Kay works with the solicitors in the team supporting them and sharing her medical expertise and knowledge. She also assists clients by helping to explain the often complicated medical issues involved in their cases.
Before joining Irwin Mitchell in 2002, Kay spent many years working in a hospital. She gained wide experience of medicine, surgery and gynaecology. She then left to work in primary care as a practice nurse, running diabetic, heart disease, asthma, women's health and immunisation clinics.
